BREEDING SYSTEM · Breeding System
By moving away from a haphazard breeding model, every seed potato undergoes three rigorous physical isolation checks, ensuring a progressively stable output of high-quality product.
Using apical meristem isolation technology, test-tube seedlings are cultivated in a Class 100,000 sterile laboratory, ensuring thorough purification at the genetic level and completely eliminating infection by late blight and core viral sources.
Sterile seedlings are transplanted into high-standard smart greenhouses, where they are cultivated entirely using standardized growing media to produce highly vigorous, disease-resistant microtubers weighing 2–10 g each, with a round and plump shape.
We have selected a high-altitude, isolated area at 41° north latitude—a cool region free from soil-borne diseases—to establish our company’s exclusive, proprietary open-field propagation base. We implement a unified, standardized “100%” cultivation system alongside a rigorous plant protection and weed control regimen to ensure absolute autonomy and control over the quality of our seed stock.

For different downstream processing scenarios, Junsheng offers specialized varieties precisely tailored to each application, ensuring that the advantages of the raw materials are directly translated into the quality of the finished products.
The tubers are round, with a dry matter content of 22% or higher and an extremely low reducing sugar content (≤0.15%). They are the absolute first choice as raw material for whole-potato powder extraction and industrial composite potato chips.
Long and oval-shaped, with an exceptionally high proportion of large potatoes. With consistent dry matter content, the fries are golden brown, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—making this French fry processing line a perfect fit for the fast-food supply chain.
A globally recognized top-tier variety specifically bred for frozen French fries. The potatoes are long and oval-shaped, with light brown, net-like skin. It has an extremely high dry matter content and a long dormancy period, making it highly suitable for storage. The fried fries have a uniform color and a soft, starchy texture, making them the raw material of choice for major international fast-food chains.
